Eight Ways to Help High Yield of Peanuts
1. Choose good breeds. Choose high-yield and high-quality new varieties, such as Luhua 14, Huayu 16, 8802-1, Shuanghua 20, etc.
2. Deep plowing, applying foot fertilizer. Before plowing the land, apply a layer of farmyard manure, 2500 kg per 667 square meters. At the same time, 15 kilograms of urea, 50 kilograms of superphosphate and 15 kilograms of potassium chloride are applied per 667 square meters of ridging.
3. Make sure the density is reasonable. According to the peanut mulch, the ridge spacing is 90 cm and the ridge surface is 70 cm wide. Two rows of peanuts are planted, about 7,400 plants per 667 square meters.
4. Peanut topping. In the group stage, the main stem is cut off, leaving only the first and second pairs of lateral branches. After the main stem is removed, the first pair of lateral branches grow by 1.2 to 2.7 cm, the second pair of lateral branches grow by 9 to 10 cm, and the yield increases by 10% to 14%.
5. Loose soil to press branches. In the late flowering stage, choose a sunny afternoon, press a handful of pig, sheep dung and a small amount of phosphate fertilizer in the middle of the flowers, and then press two or three handfuls of soil. Irrigate first and then press soil during drought.
6. Spray paclobutrazol to promote control reasonably. 30 to 50 days after the peanut blooms, spray paclobutrazol at a concentration of 0.1% on the leaves to control the ups and downs and prevent the collapse of the peanuts.
7. Foliar spray fertilizer. Spray high-efficiency and quick-acting foliar fertilizer, such as potassium dihydrogen phosphate, etc. at the flowering stage, needle stage, and pod setting stage.
8. Clay the soil to meet the cone. After the uncoated peanuts are put into the soil by the first batch of fruit needles, the second batch of fruit needles will be deep-hoeed and cultivated. Highly cultivated soil during the second blooming period.
